Special Forces Stormtroopers were elite stormtrooper units of the First Order that were used on delicate missions and special operations. They were seen using a type of stealth speeder bike that was designed similar to the speeder bikes used by the Galactic Empire years earlier. Their armor was similar, also, to the First Order Stormtroopers but was black and red. It is also possible that, due to their black armor design, that these stormtroopers could have evolved from the Imperial Shadow Troopers of the Galactic Empire.
